Visions 2016 – an art exhibition by students

Congratulations again to selected students from local public schools for an impressive exhibition.  Our Art teachers are very proud to have their students work showcased at the Wanneroo Library and Cultural Centre.

Opening night was held on Wednesday 19th October, with official awards announced to opening attendees and was a huge success with over 150 attendees from our school as well as the local primary schools and wider Wanneroo community.

The students have created a fantastic variety of work, ranging widely in discipline and theme, but all executed to the highest standard.  Congratulations go out to all students who had work displayed this year.

A big thankyou goes out to Christian Maher of Year 12, delivering a Welcome to Country, to our Principal, Pauline White, and to the deputy Mayor of Wanneroo, Dianne Guise, for opening the event, as well as to all the staff and students who helped to make the whole thing happen.

Thank you to all the families and friends for attending the exhibition, leaving very encouraging comments of praise and support.

Special notice goes to our award winners:

Sarah Cvitan in year 7

Grace Innocent in year 8

Justin Nguyen in year 9

Paige Grosser in year 10

Julia Petrovski in year 11

Kaia Gear in year 12
